| | THE GRANDE MOTTE:
its pinnacle at 3,656 meters altitude towers above the resort and skiing area and from here the view of the Alps is simply breathtaking. Glacier skiing is possible all year round and in general the snow is of first class standard. The Grande Motte is a must on your holiday program, especially on a clear sunny day. You should use the Génépy piste if you are looking for an easy run down, although snowboard novices are advised to avoid this route due to its numerous long flat sections. An alternative return run to the resort is the Double M, which presents no particular difficulty but tends to get overcrowded towards the end of the day.
