Val Thorens, 2300m

Situated in the heart of a large circle dominated by 6 glaciers, Val Thorens is, at an altitude of 2300m, the highest resort in Europe. It is also the top of the 3 Valleys, the largest ski area in the world, (600 km of pistes, 200 ski lifts, 25 mountain peaks). Val Thorens offers exceptional snow quality, guaranteed from the end of November up until  the middle of May, with 7 skiable peaks or passes over 3000m high. Adapted to all levels of skiers, the ski area is the best example of a perfect lift system.

The other major benefit of this Savoyard resort is the success in its architectural transformation. With its luxury hotels, chalets, pedestrian streets and church, Val Thorens can now offer to its client’s high quality accommodation in a mountain village atmosphere resort. In order to answer the demand of its holiday makers, a large choice of sporting and cultural activities are offered, including a covered 9000 m2 sports centre and day centres welcoming children from 3 months old.

Having found the compromise between modern and traditional living, Val Thorens  offers  its services and the skiing of a large resort in an imposing warm mountain setting.
