La Plagne during the summer...You just can't beat it!
Located in the Tarentaise valley, at the very gates of the Vanoise
National Park, La Plagne brings together 6 high altitude resorts (from 1800 to 2100 metres), Plagne Centre, Aime la Plagne, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne 1800, Plagne Villages-Plagne Soleil and Belle Plagne, and 4 village resorts, Montchavin, Les Coches, Plagne Montalbert and Champagny en Vanoise.
Its geographical position makes La Plagne the ideal starting point for cultural and sporting outings in the Alps (Italy and Switzerland are both close at hand).
You can take part in a
wide range of white water sports on the Isère and Doron rivers, which form the area's boundaries. For the less intrepid, the shady beaches and relaxing cool of the lake at Macot may be more appealing.
